Fresh Israeli Strikes Kill More Palestinians as Gaza Death Toll Continues to Rise
Israeli attacks across Gaza have claimed more Palestinian lives, with at least three people killed in central Gaza following the latest strikes, according to local sources. Earlier, an Israeli air attack on a residential building in western Gaza City killed at least four more Palestinians, adding to the growing civilian toll.
Meanwhile, violence continues across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli forces and settlers are carrying out raids, arrests, and attacks in several areas. Tensions remain high as military operations intensify on multiple fronts.
On the diplomatic front, United States President Donald Trump has voiced opposition to Israel’s proposed annexation of the West Bank, as international criticism of the move continues to mount. Global leaders and rights groups have warned that annexation could further destabilize the region.
In a separate development, the sixth group of displaced Palestinians returned to Gaza, with 40 people entering the territory through the Rafah crossing, offering a rare moment of movement amid ongoing restrictions.
Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has resulted in at least 72,037 Palestinian deaths and more than 171,666 injuries, according to health authorities. During the October 7, 2023 attacks, about 1,139 people were killed in Israel, and approximately 250 individuals were taken captive.
As fighting and humanitarian suffering continue, calls for accountability, ceasefire efforts, and international intervention are growing louder.Source
